THE APPLICATION PROCESS OPENED ON 5 JANUARY 2026

We will, as far as possible, be running our annual 6 a side festival as a paperless event therefore this page will be the major source of the latest information, and will update as necessary but if the answer to your query is not covered on this page or the documents below, please email duffersunited@virginmedia.com

Event location: Barry Town United FC, Jenner Park, Barry CF63 1BJ or CF62 9BG
Team size is 6 a side, maximum of 10 players per squad
Cost: £60 per team (places only confirmed on receipt of full payment)
Registration of teams: 9:30-9:45am
Official squad photo opportunities under full size goal as soon as teams are in kit
First Kick Off: 10:30am
Finish time for the event: 4pm (approximately)

The final games will be followed by presentations and a free buffet in the Jenner Park Club House
​
The clubhouse is open throughout the day selling amongst other items alcohol, water, tea & coffee, crisps and chocolate

Applications for our walking football festival opened on 5 January.
To request entry please submit the following application form or the information on it to duffersunited@virginmedia.com

We RESERVE places on receipt of an email to duffersunited@virginmedia.com stating the number of teams a club wishes to apply for however we only CONFIRM a place(s) for each application once full payment has been made.​ If demand is high teams who pay first will take priority and a reserve list will be created.

The poster, information pack and FAW laws of the game below provides more information. Please familiarise yourselves with all the documents before you arrive at Jenner Park. These may be updated as the festival date approaches

​​Please pay particular attention to the strict footwear requirements at Jenner Park (Please see the picture below)
Moulded studs (RECOMMENDED) and small round 2mm screw in stud boots are the only permissible footwear.
Players and any team officials will be refused access to the pitch if footwear does not meet the requirements (please see the image below for examples). No Refunds are given.
