​Barry Town United Walking Football first sent a squad of trailblazers to the Esquina Park Walking Football Tournament in Rojales, Spain on 9 and 10 November 2023. 

 

The squad enjoyed two days of walking football against squads form Spain, Portugal, England and Scotland. In a very competitive event Darren Perry was given the honour of being awarded "Player of the Tournament 2023"

Because the original event was so memorable we continue to send squads each year​
