Becoming a Club Member
Taster Sessions:
To help you decide if our club and walking football are right you your first week of training (Tuesday and/or Thursday) is completely free of charge. You are welcome to try us for free at up to two sessions in the same week.

You can just turn up to one of our training sessions (see Training | Barry Town United Walking Football Club ) but it would help if you tell us in advance so we can send you additional information. You can let us know by sending an email to duffersunited@virginmedia.com or on Facebook at Barry Town United Walking Football Club | Facebook

After your taster sessions, if you would like to continue as a club member, please complete and return the membership application form at the bottom of this page.

Membership Fees:
Because our operating costs (training, equipment, kit and match costs) are high we do not operate on a pay-as-you-go basis. Instead, we charge a fixed monthly membership fee which allows you to attend as often as you want and to ensure we can continue providing quality training and services. Membership fees, which are currently £25 per calendar month, must be paid in advance by the 1st of every month regardless of whether you can attend all training sessions. We truly appreciate your understanding and commitment—it’s what helps our club thrive!
Your membership fee covers insurance, training pitch hire, equipment, match fees, charitable donations, travel costs and supply of Barry Town United Walking Football match and training kit. It allows you to train twice weekly every month for one set fee. If you can't play or train for over a month you can ask for your fees to be suspended until you can return. Please contact a committee member for more information..
When you become a club member, fees become due at a rate of £5.77 per week until the end of your first month. Thereafter payment of £25 will be due on the 1st of each month.
Information on how to pay fees will be sent to you once we have your membership form and your membership is confirmed.
